Bible Study Notebook/Binder

So one day I had voice that told me to get closer to God and I listened. I created a bible study binder for myself. I figured that finding printables for this would be an easy task...boy was wrong, but I did find some printables for my binder tweaked somethings by hand.

I have the following sections in my binder.....

Bible Study notes...the printout I used is this one I'm sure if you ask her she might send you the PDF file for the scripture journal.

Devotional Study notes.....I am actually using a printout from this site

Personal Study notes...the printout I am using again came from one of a kind gift ideas.

Bible study lessons....The are small on-line studies that I have found that are more or less about being a woman to God and what kind of relationship a woman should have with God. I Googled women's bible studies and got a lot of links and most of the studies are in PDF format.

Mom's corner emails....I signed up for this email and it's thru titus 2. It's about encouragement for being a parent or some times it's about homeschooling or sometimes it's personal growth in becoming a christian.

Scripture notes....this section is used for note taking of chapters in the bible that I am reading and where else the topic can be found in other books.

Reading plans/Study....Right now I am working on the 31 Proverbs Woman from Good Morning Girls. They are gearing to start a new study soon. You can check them out here > or their Facebook page .

Topic great place to have different topics of the bible that are interesting to read for what ever is going on your life. or

I have a blank tab...Haven't quite figured out what I am going to put there yet. The next tab I have is for all my original printouts so all I have to do is take a trip to the local staples/office max or some place you can make copies and there you go.

I do hope that you find this helpful. There are some sites on google but they are not as helpful as I thought they'd be.

I'm hoping to do a section after awhile on bible studies for women or help versus or something to that effect. I hope that you all have a blessed day and enjoyed this post. If you have any questions please feel free to comment!

My 3rd adventure from Pinterest Land... Make Ahead Freezer Smoothies

This picture belongs solely to Angela from her blog The Coupon Project

I saw this and my immediate thought was I Can DO This! Then real life hit me in the head and my brain was like this a win or pintrosity, we will see but so far so good!

I had to buy the ice cube trays cos well  I have an auto ice maker so that kinda added to my cost. I have to say I love these smoothies but I hate paying the cost of them. So with out further ado here is the recipe and a a picture of how my yogurt cubes looked. Once I actually try the finished product  I will post an update of this adventure from my Pinterest board.

Yogurt (I used a 32 tub to save on cost)
Frozen or Fresh Fruit
Freezer Bags
Ice Cube Trays
Orange Juice, Milk, or Non-Dairy Milk

In each freezer bag, you are going to place 1/2 cup fruit (fresh or frozen) and 1/2 banana, I did peaches and mangoes cos well I was craving mangoes and they are pretty darn yummy with bananas and yogurt! After your yogurt cubes are frozen, you’ll add about 5 to each baggie. If they were big like mine then you'll do about 4 of them.

When you are ready to make your smoothie, you will empty the contents of one bag into your blender along with 1 cup of the juice/milk/nut milk beverage of your choice. You can even do 1 cup of orange or other fruit juice the ideas are limitless.

Lego desk for our son...update into Pinterestland

Here is an update from the previous post of my 2nd project from my pinterest board. I have to say I like it and it didn't cost or take as long as the source I blogged about.

The 2 3 drawer plastic storage bins cost us $17.99 each, the little mini 5 drawer holder cost $5.99 from the same store.

The wooden table top cost us nothing our neighbor gave it to us and hubby sanded it. We had the tools for that and it was a belt-sander that hubby used it took him about 45 minutes. He sanded it till it was pretty smooth well as smooth as plywood can get.

The paint we used was indoor/outdoor white latex paint. I warn you if you do this project on a beautiful day you will need sunglasses and the paint will dry faster than you can We did about 3 coats of white paint.

Our son loves the table and hopefully soon we can get his legos sorted out and put into the drawers so he can find them easier and build more.

So with this being my second Pinterest project this one was an epic win and easy to do if you have the right materials!

New Adventures in Pinterest Land....or What works and what's a Pintrosity!

OMG how I do love you pinterest! So many crafts, ideas and recipes in one place and never ever again having to remember what the heck the sight was that I found it at.

So with my adventures in Pinterest land I figured that every time that I do something from my wall I will post what I have done and did it work...who knows might save some of you from making the same mistake or further your own adventures into Pinterest land!

So the first actual pinterest adventure I had was the olive oil dispenser used instead for dish washing soap. I have to say I LOVE this idea. It worked for me. The key is not to use very thick dish washing liquid and all is right in the internet world.

The next project is the lego desk for our son. Yes as any parent can tell you I hate...I hate...I hate stepping on them and let alone trying to find a certain piece to build what ever the heck it is in my son's over active imagination. Well The below picture is what I saw and fell in love with the idea.

                      !This picture belongs to!

Once I have mine done I will post this pinterest adventure in a new post! I hope to have plenty more pinterest adventures to share with you all!

Remember Happy Pinning!

The Gruffalo for the virtual book club book of the month

3:20 PM Rachel Adams 2 Comments

Well tomorrow we will be reading The Gruffalo for Family Fun Night. I found all kinds of great activities and yummy foods to go with the theme.

I made dirt cups to represent the snake in the book. I have bourbon chicken to represent the fox (roasted fox), and for the owl honey bbq wings. Then there is chocolate covered raisins to represent the mouse (mouse poop). My son is super excited about tomorrow.

I will post pictures of the meal, and some of the activities that we have planned such as finger puppets for my son to act the book out as I read it to him and then we will watch the movie.  I will see about finding the printable activities and the links that go with them.

I am so excited about tomorrow I don't know who is more excited me, my son or my hubby!

Super excited about this for my son! Each month there is a new author to read from and coordinating activities and this goes great with the newest post about Family Fun night!

So on March 18, 2013 the author is Author Julia Donaldson. My son loved the book the Gruffalo alot! There are many books she's done and I will probably check out 2-3 of these books read them first and then theme the meal and snacks according to the books I get.

I am super excited to not only share this idea with you all but at the same we can teach our children the fine appreciation of reading and help them remember the fun things we did with them so when they have children the tradition gets passed on.

To see other works by Julia Donaldson I will be enclosing a link to amazon so you too may join the fun. Happy Family Fun Night!

Family Fun Night

So lately I've been thinking and got hubby to agree to this as well...I'm tired of family night only consisting of movie and popcorn. There has to be, well something more! With this thought hubby is questioning what I am planing for the family and how being crafty and pinterest happy knew that there are ways for us to have fun without it always costing $$$$.

So I created a board on pinterest and it's just that Family Fun Night! It will be either Friday or Saturday and that mean no TV (unless it's a movie we are watching) and let the fun and themed meals begin.

There are so many great options for families to get out have fun or heck bring the fun indoors when the weather isn't all that great. I can't wait to art nights where I get to introduce an artist, their works and let my son have at it and draw whatever it is he sees and have food that match the artists and the country they are from....such great times I see ahead for us.

So I will be inclosing the link to my Family Fun Night Pinterest board have fun and oh btw I am always pining something.
